Birds and nature are a natural focus of my work.  It was that interest in birds that sparked my wanderlust.  It was this wanderlust that caused me to take a year to travel and learn about birds and drawing.  I traveled for over 38,000 miles and identified 560 species of birds in that first year of travel and study.  I now live in the Golden Isles of Coastal Georgia.

Now I am pursuing my studies of birds and art.  I show my etchings and monotypes as well as other mediums through the year at art shows and birding festivals. I am also a columnist for the “Jekyll Golden Islander”.  Preservation and Conservation of bird habitats are my major concern. I am currently the Executive Director for the Georgia’s Colonial Coast Birding & Nature Festival.  I am taking my love of birds and my talent of printmaking and combining them into a way of life.
